ATA AUDIO OPENS U.S. SUBSIDIARY

ROCKAWAY, New Jersey -- French telecommunications equipment manufacturer ATA Audio recently opened a US subsidiary in Rockaway, New Jersey. The announcement was made by Bertrand de Fleurieu, general manager.

Established in 1978, ATA has been a leading supplier to telecom markets worldwide for over twenty years. ATA additionally manufactures a line of audio codecs, as well as proprietary equipment for military use.

"The timing couldn’t be better to open a US subsidiary," says de Fleurieu. "Now that we are firmly established in European markets, it is time to refocus our distribution in the United States. To be successful in this endeavor, it is imperative that we have an independent facility to service that market. Sales, marketing, shipping and technical support will all be functions of our US division. We are also very fortunate to have industry-veteran Mark Kaltman leading this operation in the capacity of president."
