General Presentation of GSM Mode

Audio Characteristics
• Audio coding compliant with GSM standards.
• Bandwidth 300 – 3400 Hz.
• Quality close to ink between telephone hybrids.*
Moderate delay (identical to that of a normal GSM speech connection).

Network Access Characteristics
• Integrated dual-band module, compatible with all GSM networks.
• The SIM card is inserted in a receptable integrated into the codec.
• Male FME plug on rear panel for connection of an antenna.
• Services** and miscellaneous functions.

- Pin code entry
- Indication of current network and radio reception level
- Selection of wireless network
- Caller ID display
- DTMF codes can be sent from keyboard during transmission

• Standard version: tri-band 900 – 1800 – 1900 MHz
